Hello all!

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On A World of Words, and you can find the original post about it here.

There are three questions to answer, the Three Ws:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Here are my answers:

What are you currently reading?

22610732At the minute I am about half way through Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo. After loving the Six of Crows duology earlier this year, I thought I had to read Bardugo’s other Grisha series, and I love it! I’m so glad I bought all three books at the same time otherwise I’d have been rushing into town as soon as I finished the first book to buy the second and third!

What did you recently finish reading?

25406946I’ve finished two books since last week! I finished In a Dark, Dark Wood by Ruth Ware, which I enjoyed. It wasn’t something I’d normally pick up but I’m glad I read it. I think I’ll definitely look into reading some more of Ware’s books.

22819449I also started and finished Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo. This was brilliant! It took me a couple of chapters to get back into the Grisha world but then I flew through it! I love the characters, and I don’t know why I’ve not read this trilogy until now

What do you think you’ll read next?

14061957I’ll definitely be reading Ruin and Rising by Leigh Bardugo, and I think I’ll be starting that tomorrow at this rate. I can’t wait to see what happens in this story, and how the characters overcome everything. I think this will be another book that I fly through as I love both the world and Leigh Bardugo’s writing.

I may also pick up a Victoria Schwab book this week, as her books have been on my TBR list for what feels like forever but I’ve never read any. I’ve heard so many great things about her books and I look forward to reading some.

What are you reading now? Feel free to leave any recommendations/comments.

  1. I’ve read a couple of Ruth Ware books, but I haven’t read “In a Dark, Dark Wood”, which is the one people say is her best. I really need to get myself a copy of that. I liked “The Lying Game” more than “The Woman in Cabin 10”, which I thought was overrated and almost exactly like “The Girl on a Train” except on a boat. I have heard good things about “The Death of Mrs. Westaway” as well. Here is my WWW post if interested: https://greatmorrisonmigration.wordpress.com/2018/08/15/www-wednesdays-august-15-2018/

  2. I love the Grisha trilogy so much! I know it’s an unpopular opinion, but I think I like it even more than the Six of Crows duology. They’re both amazing series though and I’m so excited for King of Scars to come out! Happy reading 😊

  3. I read the Six of Crows duology last year and absolutely loved it, and that led me to reading the Grisha trilogy too! I personally liked Six of Crows a lot more, but overall I love the world Leigh Bardugo created and the way she writes. I’m interested to hear what you think of Ruin and Rising 😌 I’m looking forward to King of Scars, Nikolai is my favorite!

    1. I think Six of Crows is my favourite so far, but I love this trilogy as well! I just love the Grisha world, I can’t wait to read more, and I hope she writes more after King of Scars. I’ll definitely be writing a review on the series as a whole. Hopefully this’ll be done next week.
Me too, I can’t wait to read more about Nikolai, he’s definitely one of my favourite characters, if not my favourite, in the series! 🙂
