WWW Wednesday, 22/08/2018

Hello all!

It’s that time of the week again, WWW Wednesday! WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On A World of Words, and you can find the original post about it here.

There are three questions to answer, the Three Ws:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Here are my answers:

What are you currently reading?

28779776I’m currently reading Nevernight by Jay Kristoff and so far I’m really enjoying it. It took me a little while to get into it as I started it when I was still reading Ruin and Rising but yeah, it’s great. It’s quite different to what I expected to be honest, but I can see why there’s so much hype and why the reviews are so good. I’ll definitely be checking out some of Kristoff’s other books!

What did you recently finish reading?

14061957I finished both Siege and Storm and Ruin and Rising, thus concluding the Grisha trilogy. I absolutely loved it! This trilogy and the Six of Crows duology have very quickly become two more of my favourite series’. I’m very excited for King of Scars to come out in January, it’s quite possibly my most anticipated read of January 2019! I wrote a review on the Grisha trilogy, which you can find here.

What do you think you’ll read next?

24845064I think next I’ll start reading A Darker Shade of Magic, the first in the Shade of Magic trilogy by Victoria Schwab. I’ve heard great things about this trilogy and can’t wait to jump into my first Victoria Schwab book. I’ve bought the whole trilogy as I think I’ll like it and, if it’s anything like my experience of reading the Grisha trilogy and Harry Potter and many other series’, then I’ll want to dive straight into the second and third books in the trilogy.

34217885If I enjoy Nevernight as much as well, I’ll probably also pick up Godsgrave by Jay Kristoff. I’ve been reading Nevernight on my Kindle so I’ll probably pick up Godsgrave on there too.

So far I’m enjoying using the Kindle on my tablet (which I’m actually surprised about) as I’ve not really given it a chance in the past.

So that’s my WWW Wednesday. What have you read recently? What are you planning on reading this week? Feel free to leave a link to you WWW Wednesday in the comments!

Also, feel free to follow me and add me on Goodreads, Twitter and Instagram

  1. It took me a little while to get into Nevernight (it takes me a little while to get into all of Jay Kristoff’s books tbh) but it was worth it in the end and it was a lot easier to get into Godsgrave afterwards (which I hope you enjoy too).
I really really hope you love A Darker Shade of Magic. It’s an all-time favourite of mine so I love seeing other people discover the series as well.
Great post, and happy reading! 🙂 ❤️
