November Book Haul

Hello all!

Long time no speak. I’m sorry I’ve been absent from here for so long; I’ve been working a lot recently and haven’t been reading as much as I’d like. I’ve been trying to, but like I said before, I’m tired from work and haven’t wanted to read in the evenings, just chill and go to bed.

Anyway, this post isn’t about my absence from book blogging, it’s about the books I bought in November! So let’s get started!

29236299The first book I bought was an ebook! I bought Gemina by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff as I enjoyed Illuminae so much, I can’t wait to get to it eventually! I’m looking forward to starting this to see how it continues the story and to see character developments! This is one that I think I’ll read more on my commutes to and from work, as I can read it on my phone or on my tablet.

Next up was my first audiobook! I decided it was finally time to delve into audiobooks, and I chose Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor and wow – that book was so good!!!! I’m planning on listening to Muse of Nightmares this month now too!! I’m also now a big fan of audiobooks! I wrote a post about my initial thoughts on them, which you can find here!

After listening to Strange the Dreamer I decided that I wanted a physical copy of the book as well, so that I can reread it in the future and highlight quotes I like. That meant that I went on to Book Depository to see if there were any other books that I wanted as well. Obviously I found more books that I liked the look of, and no surprise, they were both Victoria Schwab books. I picked up Vengeful (finally) and The Dark Vaults, both of which I cannot wait to read soon, or when I have time anyway!

And of course, I made a trip to the local charity shops to see what books they had. I managed to find The Name of the Wind and The Wise Man’s Fear by Patrick Ness for about £3 for the two! I thought this was an excellent price for the two books, especially considering how big The Wise Man’s Fear is! This is a series that I’ve been meaning to start reading for a while now, so I’m glad I could pick them up at such a good price and in such good condition.

That’s it. That’s the end of my November book haul!
Have you read any of these books, and if so did you enjoy them? Let me know!
