A tag that combines two of my favourite things? Yes please!!
I was tagged by the lovely Throne of Books to do this tag, so thank you for tagging me!
Black Coffee | Name A Series That’s Tough To Get Into But Has Hardcore Fans: I think I’ll have to go with the same answer; Game of Thrones. As someone who has never read the books and has only seen a few episodes, but has seen the fandom surrounding the series, I can see how it could be tough to get into. Especially as the books are huge and very detailed!
Peppermint Mocha | Name A Book That Gets More Popular During the Winter or A Festive Time of Year: I’d have to go with Let it Snow by John Green, Lauren Myracle, and Maureen Johnson. I think this is one that crops up every winter, mostly as it is set around Christmastime.
Hot Chocolate | What Is Your Favorite Children’s Book? I have so many!!! Harry Potter (obviously), The Faraway Tree, Charlie Bone, so many! I want to reread a lot of these this year too, in line with my Rereading Old Favourites post!
Double Shot of Espresso | Name A Book That Kept You On the Edge Of Your Seat From Start to Finish: Truly Devious by Maureen Johnson. I read this book in 2 days because I just couldn’t put it down! I’ve just finished The Vanishing Stair and I can’t wait for book 3!
Starbucks | Name A Book You See Everywhere: Recently it’s been King of Scars because everyone has been so excited to read it/has read it and reviewed it!
The Hipster Coffee Shop | Give A Book By An Indie Author A Shout Out: Hmmmm, I can’t think of any right now, who is your favourite indie author at the moment?
Oops! I Accidentally Ordered Decaf | Name A Book You Were Expecting More Of: I think I was expecting more from The End of Oz by Danielle Paige. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed the book, but I expected more from it as it was the last one?
The Perfect Blend | Name A Book Or Series That Was Both Bitter And Sweet, But Ultimately Satisfying: The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid. This book was amazing. I felt sad and happy about the end but it was so good, and so well-written!
Green Tea | Name A Book Or Series That Is Quietly Beautiful: Maybe not quietly but A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness. That book is truly beautiful.
Chai Tea | Name a Book Or Place Series That Makes You Dream Of Far Off Places: Six of Crows. In fact, all of the Grisha books. The maps get more beautiful with each book, and I loved them so much. I loved the adventure that came with each book, and the way you felt like you were in the world alongside the characters throughout.
Earl Grey | Name Your Favorite Classic: My favourite classic is To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee. Ever since I read it in high school I’ve considered it one of my favourite books of all time, and my favourite classic.
I really enjoyed doing this tag! I tag anyone who hasn’t done this tag yet, any readers, and any coffee-drinkers!
